GDS BPM Vacancies

GDS employees receive Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA).

The notification provides for a 3% annual increase in TRCA, subject to the applicable conditions. GDS are also entitled to Dearness Allowance and certain other allowances and social-security benefits under the GDS rules.
Candidates should note that GDS are not regular Central Government employees. Their service conditions are governed by the Gramin Dak Sevaks (Conduct and Engagement) Rules, 2020.
Telangana GDS Selection Process 2026
Selection for Telangana GDS posts will be based on a system-generated merit list.
The merit list is prepared using marks obtained in the 10th-standard examination, with the marks converted into a percentage accurate to four decimal places.
Where candidates have grades or grade points instead of marks, the Department has prescribed conversion procedures. The notification also provides a 9.5 multiplication factor for applicable grade-point and CGPA conversions.
After shortlisting, candidates have to attend physical verification of original documents.
GDS Application Fee
The application fee is ₹100 for candidates to whom the fee applies.
The following candidates are exempted from payment:

The application process has two major stages:
Step 1: Complete One-Time Registration (OTR).
Step 2: Login with the registration number and password and submit the online application.

One Important Rule About Division Selection
Candidates should carefully choose their Division while applying.
The notification states that an applicant can apply for GDS vacancies in only one selected Division. After selecting the Division, the system displays eligible posts based on factors including community, age, PwBD status and local-language eligibility.
Candidates can then give preferences for the eligible posts available in that Division. If selected for more than one post, only one post will ultimately be offered according to the preference and suitability rules.
