Trade-Wise Vacancies

Selection Process

The selection process includes a qualifying trade test followed by a competitive written examination.

1. Trade Test

The trade test is qualifying in nature.

2. Competitive Written Examination

Candidates who qualify in the trade test will be invited to the competitive written examination. The examination consists of three papers.

The total examination comprises 150 questions, with a total allotted time of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Paper I is qualifying in nature. Paper II and Paper III will be evaluated only for candidates who achieve the minimum threshold marks prescribed for Paper I. The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in Paper II and Paper III.

The notification specifies that there is no negative marking in Paper I. For Paper II and Paper III, one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.
