Telangana Graduate MLC Voter Registration 2026 Deadline Extended, CEO Announces Update
The Telangana Graduate MLC voter registration deadline has become a major update for graduates planning to enrol in the electoral rolls for the upcoming Graduate MLC elections. Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudarshan Reddy reportedly announced on November 3, 2026, that the deadline for submitting Graduate MLC voter registration applications would be extended.
The earlier deadline for submitting Form 18 applications was November 6, 2026. According to reports, eligible graduates can now submit their applications until the last date of filing nominations for the respective MLC elections.
The announcement comes after applicants reportedly faced technical difficulties while accessing the online voter registration portal.
Telangana Graduate MLC Registration Deadline Extension 2026
The initial registration deadline was November 6, 2026. However, following reports of technical issues with the online registration system, an extension was reported on November 3.
The reported extension applies to the two Graduate MLC constituencies in Telangana:
- Mahabubnagar–Rangareddy–Hyderabad Graduate Constituency.
- Warangal–Khammam–Nalgonda Graduate Constituency.
The revised deadline is linked to the last date of filing nominations for the respective elections. An exact revised calendar date should be confirmed through the official election authorities.
Why Was the Deadline Extended?
Several graduates reportedly experienced difficulties submitting their applications through the online registration portal. In response to these complaints, the Chief Electoral Officer reportedly announced the extension to provide additional time for eligible graduates to complete their registration.
The extension is particularly relevant for graduates who could not submit their Form 18 applications before the original deadline.
