The Election Commission had extended the Telangana SIR enumeration period to August 10. Under the revised schedule, the draft electoral roll was scheduled for August 17, claims and objections are allowed from August 17 to September 16, and the final electoral roll is scheduled to be published on October 19, 2026.

Follow these steps to download the Telangana SIR voter list PDF:

1. Visit the official ECI electoral-roll download page.
2. Select Telangana as the state.
3. Select the required district.
4. Select your Assembly Constituency.
5. Select the relevant polling station/Part number.
6. Download the available electoral-roll PDF.
7. Open the PDF and check your name and other voter details.

The electoral roll is provided part-wise, so voters need to identify the correct polling station or part before downloading the PDF.

How to Check Your Name in the Telangana SIR Draft Voter List

At present, the most useful way to verify your inclusion in the Telangana SIR Draft Electoral Roll is to download the relevant booth/ Part-wise PDF and check the entries in that roll.

Step 1: Find Your Assembly Constituency

First, identify the Assembly Constituency where you are registered as a voter.

You can check your existing voter information through the ECI voter services or your previous electoral-roll details.

Step 2: Identify Your Polling Station and Part Number

The electoral roll is divided into different Parts corresponding to polling stations.

If you know your previous polling station and Part number, start with that information. However, voters should not assume that the Part number or serial number will necessarily remain unchanged after the SIR exercise.

Polling-station rationalization and changes in the electoral roll can result in changes to voter details.

Step 3: Download the PDF

After selecting the district, assembly constituency, and relevant Part, download the electoral-roll PDF.

Step 4: Search for Your Name

Open the downloaded PDF and look for your:

• Name
• EPIC/Voter ID number
• Relative’s name
• House number
• Serial number
• Other available electoral details

Some electoral-roll PDFs may be scanned or image-based. In such cases, the normal Ctrl + F search may not work immediately. You may need to zoom in and manually check the entries or use a PDF application that supports OCR/text recognition.

Step 5: Verify the Details

Finding your name is not enough. Carefully check whether your voter information is correct.

Verify your:

• Name
• EPIC number
• Relative’s name
• House number
• Age/date of birth, where shown
• Gender
• Polling station
• Part number
• Serial number

If your name and details are correct, you can keep the downloaded PDF or note down your updated Part and serial number for future reference.

Important: Your Old Part Number May Change

One thing voters should keep in mind while checking the SIR draft roll is that the Part number and serial number may change.

The SIR process involves verification and updating of the electoral roll. Therefore, voters should not assume that the same Part number or serial number from an earlier electoral roll will necessarily be used in the draft roll.

If you cannot find your name in the first PDF you check, verify the relevant polling station and other Parts associated with your area before concluding that your name has been removed.

What If Your Name Is Missing From the Telangana SIR Draft Voter List?

If you cannot find your name in the Telangana SIR Draft Electoral Roll, do not immediately assume that your voter registration has been permanently cancelled.

The draft electoral roll is not the final electoral roll.

The Election Commission has provided a claims and objections period during which eligible voters can raise their concerns.

For Telangana, the current schedule provides:

• Claims and objections: August 17 to September 16, 2026
• Disposal of claims and objections: Up to October 15, 2026
• Final electoral roll: October 19, 2026.

Telangana SIR Claims and Objections 2026

The claims and objections stage allows voters to raise concerns regarding the draft electoral roll.

A voter may need to submit a claim if their name has been left out of the draft roll even though they are eligible to be registered. Similarly, objections can be filed regarding electoral-roll entries in accordance with the applicable ECI procedure.

The ECI voter services portal provides online facilities for electoral-roll related forms, including Form 6, Form 7 and Form 8.

Form 6: Form 6 is used for inclusion of a person’s name in the electoral roll.

Form 7:  Form 7 can be used to raise an objection to an entry or request deletion of a name from the electoral roll in applicable circumstances.

Form 8 Form 8 is used for correction or updating of electoral-roll details.

Voters should select the appropriate form based on their specific situation and follow the instructions provided by the Election Commission.

Telangana SIR ASDD List 2026

The SIR exercise has also identified a large number of electoral entries under the ASDD category.

ASDD refers to electors identified as:

• Absent
• Shifted
• Dead
• Duplicate

According to reports, approximately 73.39 lakh electors fall under the ASDD category, and their names are not included in the draft electoral roll.

The ASDD classification does not mean that every individual in this category is necessarily ineligible to vote. If an eligible elector believes their name has been wrongly excluded, they can use the claims process provided by the Election Commission.

The revised Telangana SIR schedule is important for voters because there is still time to raise claims or objections after publication of the draft roll.
