ECIL ITI Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), Hyderabad has released Advertisement No. 11/2026 for the recruitment of ITI Trade Apprentices at ECIL Hyderabad. A total of 310 Trade Apprentice jobs are available across various ITI trades. The apprenticeship will be for a period of one year and is scheduled to commence from 2 November 2026.

Eligible candidates who have passed ITI in the respective trade and are residents of Telangana State can apply online. The online application process started on 30 September 2026 at 6:00 PM, and the last date to submit the application is 11 October 2026 at 11:59 PM.

Candidates should note that the application process involves two steps. First, eligible candidates must register on the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) Apprenticeship India portal. After registration, they must submit the application through the ECIL website.

ECIL ITI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Overview

ECIL, a Government of India enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, has invited applications for engagement of ITI Trade Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.

ECIL Apprentice Vacancy 2026

ECIL has notified 310 Trade Apprentice seats in 13 different trades. The vacancies include Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, COPA, Electrician, Welder and other ITI trades.

ECIL ITI Apprentice Eligibility 2026

Candidates applying for ECIL ITI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 must satisfy the educational, age and other eligibility conditions specified in the notification.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess an ITI Pass Certificate, i.e. NCVT certificate, in the respective trade for which they are applying.

The qualification must be obtained from an Indian institute recognized by the appropriate statutory authority.

Age Limit

The candidate must be at least 18 years old as on 31 October 2026.

The upper age limits specified by ECIL are:

• General Candidates: 25 years
• OBC Candidates: 28 years
• SC/ST Candidates: 30 years
• PwD Candidates: Additional 10 years age relaxation

The notification specifies that candidates should not be less than 18 years of age as on 31 October 2026.

Telangana Residency Requirement

One important eligibility condition is that candidates residing in all districts of Telangana State only are eligible to apply. Candidates from outside Telangana are therefore not eligible under this notification.

ECIL Apprentice Selection Process 2026

Selection for the ECIL ITI Apprentice positions will be made based on ITI marks merit.

ECIL has also specified the following distribution:

• 70% of seats will be engaged with candidates from Government ITIs.
• 30% of seats will be engaged with candidates from Private ITIs.

Candidates shortlisted for the next stage will be informed about the original document verification through email. They will have to attend the verification within the specified period.

• MSDE registration-related documents

• Government-issued identity proof such as Aadhaar, Driving Licence or Passport
• ITI educational qualification certificates

The ECIL application process has two mandatory steps.

Application Dates

The ECIL online application window is open from:

30 September 2026 at 6:00 PM to 11 October 2026 at 11:59 PM.

After submitting the application, candidates should take a printout of the registered application form containing the system-generated application number and keep it safely for future reference.

Candidates can also take a re-print of their registered application form before the last date of online registration.

The dates above are marked as tentative in the official notification.

Apprenticeship Period

The apprenticeship training will be for one year only and is scheduled to commence from 2 November 2026.

Candidates should also note that completion of the apprenticeship does not guarantee employment in ECIL. The notification states that there is no obligation on ECIL to provide employment after completion of apprenticeship training, and apprentices cannot claim employment in ECIL as a right.

After completing the training period, apprentices will have to undergo a practical test to determine their proficiency in the designated trade. The National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) will be issued by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship after passing the test, as stated in the notification.
