MeeTicket App Telangana 2026: How to Download, Buy Bus & Metro Tickets, and Passes

MeeTicket App Telangana 2026

The Telangana government has expanded its digital ticketing services through the MeeTicket app, a common ticketing platform designed to bring different public services and ticketing options onto one platform.

The app can be used for services such as transport tickets, including TGSRTC city bus and Hyderabad Metro services, as well as entry tickets for selected parks, temples, tourist locations and other participating venues.

A major update in October 2026 is the introduction of the common pass for TGSRTC city buses and Hyderabad Metro. The new facility allows eligible commuters to use a single pass for both modes of public transport.

In this article, we explain what MeeTicket is, how to download the app, how to buy bus tickets, how digital bus passes work, and what commuters should know about the new Metro–RTC common pass.

MeeTicket App Telangana

What is the MeeTicket App?

MeeTicket is a common mobile ticketing application developed under the Telangana government’s citizen services platform.

According to the official MeeTicket portal, the platform currently has more than 12 lakh transactions, over ₹9.45 crore in transaction value, more than 2.20 lakh Android and iOS downloads, and 226 active locations.

The platform covers ticketing services from several departments and organisations, including the Forest Department, HMDA, Endowments Department, CDMA, Heritage Telangana, Telangana Tourism and Metro stations.

The official Android listing describes MeeTicket as a common application for different ticketing systems, including parks, temples, Metro and bus transport services.

What Can You Do Through MeeTicket?

Depending on the service available in your location, MeeTicket can be used for different types of ticketing.

Some of the important services include:

  • TGSRTC city bus tickets
  • Digital TGSRTC bus passes
  • Hyderabad Metro-related ticketing
  • Metro–RTC common pass information and services
  • Entry tickets for selected parks
  • Tickets for selected temples
  • Tourism and heritage locations
  • Other participating government venues

The iPhone App Store listing also describes MeeTicket as a platform for Metro rides, bus journeys and entry tickets for parks, zoos, temples and other participating locations. The latest version information specifically mentions the addition of TGSRTC City Bus booking.

The MeeTicket app is available for both Android and iPhone users.

Android users can download MeeTicket from the Google Play Store. When downloading the app, users should make sure that the developer shown is:

Citizen Services – ITE&C Dept – Govt of Telangana

The Google Play listing currently shows 100K+ downloads and identifies the app under the Government category. It is better to download the app from the official Google Play Store rather than installing APK files obtained from third-party websites. Click here to download the Android app

MeeTicket App for iPhone

iPhone users can download MeeTicket through the Apple App Store.

The official App Store listing identifies the application as MeeTicket and includes services covering transport and various entry-ticket facilities. Click here to download

How to Register and Use the MeeTicket App

After installing the application, open MeeTicket and follow the registration or login process shown on the app.

The exact screens and options may change as new services are added, but generally users need to:

  1. Open the MeeTicket application.
  2. Select the required service.
  3. Log in or complete the required user details.
  4. Select the ticket or pass service.
  5. Enter the required journey or booking details.
  6. Make the online payment.
  7. Receive the digital ticket or pass.
  8. Show the QR code when verification is required.

Users should keep the mobile phone containing the digital ticket available during travel because the ticket may need to be verified through its QR code.

How to Buy TGSRTC Bus Tickets Through MeeTicket

One of the important recent additions to MeeTicket is TGSRTC city bus booking.

Passengers can use the app to select their journey details and purchase a digital bus ticket.

The general process is:

  1. Open the MeeTicket app.
  2. Select the TGSRTC bus service.
  3. Enter the boarding point.
  4. Select the destination.
  5. Choose the required ticket type.
  6. Check the fare and journey details.
  7. Complete the digital payment.
  8. Receive the ticket in the app.
  9. Keep the QR-coded ticket ready for verification during the journey.

The app provides a digital ticket instead of requiring the passenger to carry a paper ticket.

The newly introduced mobile ticketing facility supports dynamic QR-code tickets, which can be checked during travel.

MeeTicket Digital Bus Passes

MeeTicket is not limited to individual bus tickets. TGSRTC has also introduced digital bus-pass facilities through the platform.

A weekly digital bus pass costs ₹600 and provides unlimited travel on eligible TGSRTC services for seven days. The pass can be purchased and renewed digitally through the app. Daily and monthly bus-pass facilities are also being made available through the digital platform.

This can be particularly useful for regular commuters who do not want to visit a bus-pass centre every time they need to purchase or renew a pass.

New MeeTicket Metro–RTC Common Pass 2026

One of the biggest updates associated with MeeTicket in October 2026 is the launch of the TGSRTC–Hyderabad Metro common pass.

The common pass allows commuters to travel using both TGSRTC city buses and Hyderabad Metro under a single pass. The facility was launched in October 2026 and is available at Hyderabad Metro stations.

This is particularly useful for people whose daily journey involves taking a city bus to a Metro station and then continuing their journey by Metro.

How Much Does the Metro–RTC Common Pass Cost?

There are currently two options.

PassPriceValidity
One-Day Common Pass₹400One day
30-Day Common Pass₹8,50030 days

The one-day pass consists of ₹300 for the Metro component and ₹100 for TGSRTC.
The 30-day pass consists of ₹7,000 for the Metro component and ₹1,500 for TGSRTC.

A ₹100 refundable card fee is also applicable when purchasing the card for the first time.

Where Can the Common Pass Be Used?

The common pass can be used on:

  • Hyderabad Metro services
  • TGSRTC city buses operating within the applicable ORR limits

However, Pushpak airport bus services are excluded from the common pass. The common pass provides unlimited travel during its applicable validity period.

Where Can I Buy the Metro–RTC Common Pass?

The common pass is currently available at Hyderabad Metro Rail stations. Reports on the launch indicate that passengers can purchase or recharge the common pass through Metro ticketing counters.

Therefore, passengers should not assume that the Metro–RTC physical common pass can simply be purchased inside the MeeTicket mobile app. The digital MeeTicket app and the physical Metro–RTC common pass are related to the broader integrated ticketing system, but their purchase methods can differ.

MeeTicket vs Metro–RTC Common Pass

These two things can be confusing because both are being discussed together.

MeeTicket App is a digital ticketing platform through which users can purchase services such as TGSRTC bus tickets and digital bus passes.

The Metro–RTC Common Pass, on the other hand, is a common travel pass that allows eligible passengers to travel on both Hyderabad Metro and TGSRTC city buses.

In simple terms:

MeeTicket = digital ticketing platform

Metro–RTC Common Pass = one travel pass for Metro + eligible TGSRTC city buses

How to Show a MeeTicket Bus Ticket?

After completing the booking and payment, the digital ticket is made available through the app. The ticket includes a QR code that can be used for verification.

Passengers should:

  1. Open MeeTicket.
  2. Go to the booked ticket/pass section.
  3. Open the relevant ticket.
  4. Display the QR code when asked.
  5. Allow the conductor or authorised staff to scan or verify the ticket.

It is advisable to keep sufficient battery and mobile connectivity available while travelling.

What Other Services Are Available on MeeTicket?

MeeTicket is intended to be more than a transport-ticketing application. The official portal currently lists active locations under several departments.

These include:

  • Forest Department
  • HMDA
  • Endowments Department
  • CDMA
  • Heritage Telangana
  • Telangana Tourism
  • Metro stations

The official portal currently lists 226 active locations, with Metro stations alone accounting for 57 locations.

This means the range of services available through MeeTicket can change as more government departments and locations are integrated.

MeeTicket Customer Support

The Google Play listing provides MeeTicket support details for users who face problems with the application.

The listed support email is commissioner.esd@gmail.com, and a support phone number is also provided in the official app listing.

For TGSRTC-specific issues, passengers can also contact TGSRTC through its official customer-support channels. TGSRTC lists its Hyderabad City Bus Pass helpline as 8008204216, available from 8 AM to 8 PM on working days.
